New York University Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Training

The Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org), the national accrediting agency for degree programs in this field, upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. Upon successful completion of the program, you are eligible to sit for the American Registry in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (ARDMS) examination in adult echocardiography, abdominal ultrasound, OB/GYN ultrasound, and the corresponding physics and instrumentation examinations.
